Vrsar is our favorite small town in Istria. Situated in the mid west coast of Istira, this ancient and peaceful place has tranformed in the past five decades into a well-known and developed tourist resort while stil keeping its sleepy feel. Hotel Vista is located near the beach, the harbor and Old Town Vrsar. Enjoy a drink on the large sundeck which features stunning views of the waterfront, St. Juraj island, and surrounding green islands and blue sea. The beautiful panorama view from the hotel is also behind the name Vista. All 36 rooms are furnished in a contemporary style and equipped with air-conditioning, complimentary wireless internet, and satellite TV. Some rooms have a balcony.

Istria surprised and impressed us! The whole area has a lot to offer - everything from charming villages to sunny beaches. We found the food to be amazing as well as the service that goes with it. We stayed in two different spots- Vrsar and Porec. Vrsar iz a really cozy little fishing village. We booked hotel Vista and highly recommend it. The lounge area is amazing! One evening we took a taxi to Rovinj and enjoyed exploring the quaint streets after a nice meal in town. Highly recommend restaurant Puntulina! But make sure to book a table in advance, the place is popular and always full. We enjoyed our next stop, Porec also. It’s larger than Vrsar and offers many restaurants, cafes and plenty of beaches. We’ll gladly return! - Aug 2017
